How much does an engagement cost?
It depends on scope. A focused eight-week revenue audit for a £2m–£5m business typically costs between £6,000 and £12,000. Larger restructuring projects run higher. We agree a fixed fee before work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you work with businesses outside Scotland?
Most of our clients are based in Scotland because face-to-face time matters during the diagnostic phase. We have taken on projects in northern England and occasionally work remotely with firms elsewhere in the UK, but we are upfront about the limitations of a fully remote engagement.
What size of business do you typically work with?
Our sweet spot is owner-managed companies with annual revenue between £500k and £15m and teams of 5 to 80 people. Below that range, the fee may not justify the return. Above it, you probably need a larger firm with deeper bench strength.
How quickly can you start?
After the initial diagnostic call, we can usually begin within two to three weeks. If your situation is urgent, such as a cash-flow crisis or an acquisition deadline, we will try to accelerate that timeline.
What happens in the free diagnostic call?
We spend 45 minutes asking about your business: revenue, margins, team structure, what keeps you up at night. By the end of the call, we will tell you whether we think we can add value and, if so, what a proposed scope and fee might look like. There is no obligation to proceed.
Office hours and response times
